Terms of Use
The terms on which you may use cricstats.in. They are short, and none of them are
surprising: use the site, enjoy the numbers, don't scrape it into the ground, and
don't rely on it for anything with money attached.

1. Acceptance
By using cricstats.in you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please
do not use the site. These terms should be read together with our

2. What the site is
CricStats is an independent, fan-run cricket statistics and analysis site. It is
not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the International
Cricket Council, the BCCI, any national cricket board, any franchise league, any team
or any player. Team names, league names and crests referred to on the site belong to
their respective owners and are used to identify the team or competition a page is
about.
The site is free to use and carries no subscription. We make no promise that it will
stay free, stay online, or keep any particular feature.
3. Permitted use
You may, without asking us:
- read, browse and search the site for your own personal, non-commercial use;
- quote individual statistics or a short passage in an article, video or social post, with a link back to the page you took it from;
- link to any page on the site.
For anything beyond that — bulk reuse, republication, a data feed, commercial use —
write to us at cricstats.in@gmail.com. We
are generally happy to say yes to people who ask.
4. What you may not do

Scrape or crawl the site at scale. Automated harvesting of pages,
scorecards or statistics without written permission is not allowed. We monitor
request rates and block traffic that behaves this way.
- Republish substantial parts of the site, or present its data as your own.
- Frame the site, or reproduce it inside another product or app.
- Attempt to interfere with the site's operation, security or availability, including denial-of-service attempts and probing for vulnerabilities.
- Circumvent any rate limit, block or technical restriction we apply.
- Use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights.
- Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notice.
We may block access, without notice, to anyone doing any of the above.
5. Intellectual property
The design, layout, written analysis, editorial text and original graphics on this
site are ours. Cricket statistics themselves — runs, wickets, averages, results,
dates — are facts, and we claim no ownership of the facts. What we do claim is the
particular selection, arrangement, presentation and commentary we build around them.
Third-party marks, crests, logos and photographs remain the property of their owners.

6. Accuracy of the data
We work hard to keep the numbers right, and we still cannot promise they are. Data is
compiled from public sources and processed automatically; scorecards get corrected
after the fact, records get revised, and our own pipeline can make mistakes. Some
analysis and summary text on this site is generated with the assistance of automated
tools and may contain errors.
The site is provided for general information and interest only. It is
not a source to rely on for betting, fantasy cricket, trading,
journalism of record, or any other decision with a financial or professional
consequence. See the full Disclaimer.
If you spot an error, please tell us — corrections are welcome and we act on them.
7. Third-party links
The site links to other websites, including our sister sites covering T20 leagues,
official scorecards and news outlets. We do not control those sites and are not
responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Availability
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend
or withdraw any part of it, at any time, without notice. We do not guarantee
uninterrupted access, and maintenance, upstream data problems and hosting failures do
happen.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CricStats and its operator are not liable for
any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or otherwise —
arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything on it. That
includes losses arising from inaccurate data, downtime, or reliance on any statistic
or analysis published here.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify CricStats and its operator against any claim, loss or expense
arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive
jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
12. Changes
We may revise these terms as the site develops. The revision date at the top of this
page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change
means you accept the revised terms.
