One of the standout acquisitions was young Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly, who PBKS acquired for ?3 crore. At just 22 years old, Connolly has played 36 T20 matches, scoring 705 runs with a respectable average of 33.57 and a strike rate of 136.36. His record includes three half-centuries, showcasing his potential impact on the team's batting order. He has also contributed with the ball, taking 13 wickets in his career thus far.

To bolster their bowling unit, PBKS signed left-arm seamer Ben Dwarshuis for ?4.4 crore.
