Historic win ! Indian football team beat Puerto Rico by 4-1

Indian football team crated history when they face Puerto Rico one of the higher-ranked opponents at the official international friendly match. Mumbai city was hosting its first international football friendly since 1955, and it was great support from the Mumbai fans to this match that was good to see. India was at 152 in the Fifa Rankings while Puerto Rico at the 114 in the Rankings so it was great for the Indian football team. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Indian team goalkeeper has the dream start as a Indian football team captain, It was like a dream for any young player to captain the side for a nation and perform well. In starting of the Match first 10 minute Indian team doesn't look in good touch and Indian defender gave a penalty also to the Puerto Rico  and 24-year old Elliot Velez made that penalty to the score and score was 0-1 just at 7 minute. But After this goal Chhetri and Indian team looks on fire and look to defend they played only attacking football and find few mistakes in the Puerto Rico's defense and that was great sign for the Indian Football. At 17th Minute, India got a free kick and Chhetri took the free kick and that hit on the post and in deflection Narayan Das hits back and India level the score. After this India got another free kick after 12 minutes later from the first and again Chhetri took the free kick and again hit the post but this time it was inner part and then it deflect to the another corner of the goal post and India came into the lead. Jeje Lalpekhlua was not far  back from the Chettri and he scored the from the assist from the Chhetri and he scored 7th goal in 7 match and his 3rd in the national side. He turn out to be great finding for India. In second half only one goal scored and that was also from Indian side that was on the 56th minute from another good finding for India in future that was Jackichand. So that was good night for the Indian football team and Mumbai football fans. Indian team has 3 good strikers and 2 good defenders now they require to find few good mid fielders and ISL seasons will help India to find few good footballers around the India. Jeje and Jackichand are the finding of the ISL another good was Robin singh he also can be good striker for India. So If India find good mid fielders then India can be good side in future next 3-5 years.
